Any ideas on how to relieve the pain of a bad sunburn on face (mostly eyelids)?

I searched but I’m sorry if I missed this and it’s been covered already. So I’m not really sure how this even happened since I was wearing sunglasses but my face is very badly sun burned eyelids included. They are starting to swell and peel too. I am going to the doctor tomorrow but was just wondering if anybody knew a good way to relieve the pain or help soothe it. I’m just nervous because of how close it is to my eyes.
