Be sure though, being the hitman, to not agree on half now, other half when job is done.

Murder. You have to do it yourself for it to be suicide.

I agree with @Blackberry, but would the same hold true for assisted suicide, a la Jack Kevorkian?

That guy in Germany who offered up himself to be eaten by another guy? I read somewhere in the cannibal’s testimony to cops that he participated in the act and slashed himself too before being finished off by the cannibal himself… is that case that’ll be both suicide and murder, right?

@Seelix You mean if it’s not the legal physician-assisted suicide? The charges are different in different places. In some it is murder, some have an actual charge of assisting in a suicide, and in some places it’s a felony to assist someone with suicide. Although I don’t know how this works with a hitman, because I assume this situation has rarely occured, but I also assume the fact that the person is a hitman would be hidden, because I assume that’s illegal too?

Conspiracy to commit murder.

It’s a game because for me, I’d be trying to kill them as well. Oh what I’d do to get that rush of adrenaline and endorphins again…

For you, it would be assisted suicide. But for the hitman, it’s just another job.

Though, it’d probably be ruled as a murder..

Probably murder, since he’s killing you. Suicide implies that you gotta do it yourself, and even assisted suicide demands a part of action on your behalf to be defined as such.
I suppose if some dude is willing to shoot you and you’re willing to let him do it, but by being aware of it at the moment, it’s assisted suicide, but if you don’t know when he’ll strike, the definition is lost there, no matter the intent/desire.

@Symbeline In this case the action would be contracting the hitman.

Premeditated, voluntary conspiracy to suicidal manslaughter, in the first degree.
