I’m surprised that you apparently accomplished it and don’t connect the action with the award. It’s one of the more distinct ones, certainly.

Anyway, you definitely won’t get an answer publicly on why it’s awarded.

We don’t reveal our ‘state secrets’ publicly, @lloydbird. Feel free to PM someone who has the award, and they might tell you. :)

Bigger question is why SOME Flutheronians seem to be Perfecto-Fish magnets, and they know who they are. :-P

@Hypocrisy_Central You have an Oliver Twist and a Sunken Treasure and I don’t have either one of those so the shallow pursuit of Perfecto-fish is my consolation. Well, I don’t pursue them, I have earned them all honestly, fair and square. Not sure it’s something to be proud of though; they may be more the sign of a pathology than anything else.

@Hypocrisy_Central I might consider that depending on which on you want. I have two Jules Vernes and one I earned honestly and one was from ragingloli’s 10k party, and I was third to arrive. I might give that one up. Though I would have to think hard about it. I like to earn my awards honestly, particulary awards that have no intrinsic value, like fluther awards. :-)

@lillycoyote Don’t you know? The more badges you have and the faster you get them is the litmus test on how popular and well-liked you are. Plus it gives you bragging rights ;-P

I think I am more intrigued by the cake in the frizzer than any of the other ‘indistinct’ ones, since the people who are awarded it never seem to know why! I love a good mystery…

Also we can’t say how to get any secret awards. I have that one, but I don’t remember anything about it.

I remember at least some of the steps to get the Cake in the Frizzer award, and I’ll be happy to tell anyone what I remember. Only by PM, though.

@augustlan Are you willing to cough up any clues about getting the Robot Crush? :- ) That one is killing me. Killing my brain. I can’t figure it out to save my life. Well, no, of course, I know you can’t, but there’s no crime in my trying to get you spill at least some of the beans; no crime in that at all.:-)

Robot Crush isn’t attainable at the moment. It’s broken. Now you can relax. ;)

@augustlan Quite a while??? I would never consider beating you but I am seriously considering a lawsuit of some kind! The mental anguish that I have endured! Oh the suffering I have endured trying to win the Robot Crush only to discover that the award is broken! There has to be some cause of action here! It couldn’t possibly be that I have not figured it out. It must be fluther’s fault!

IMO a mod giving tips by PM to win an award defeats the purpose…and diminishes the “value” of the award “earned” by jellies who attained it by sheer determination. Just saying! ;)

Got my silver trophy for killing 10,000 zombies. You get a gold one for killing 53,600 of them.

@augustlan Again…no one told me about…hinted about or even mentioned they existed. Not too hard to see the awards available and simple curiosity will bring you to the ultimate conclusion of a frizzer award! It was a fun adventure to say the least!

I’m still sad that I can’t get the robot crush….
