Do you have any advice for someone who wants to market a packaged food product?

It depends where you live, of course, but before getting too into the marketing and distribution end, it pays to learn about the local regulations and what it would take to produce the food product legally. Food products often have costs and responsibilities attached that non-edibles do not, such as a licensed and inspected kitchen.
