So, I accidently cut off a freckle/small mole while shaving my face. What will happen?

My face was getting pretty scraggly. So, I decided to shave. After I had removed all the hair/shaving cream from my face, I gazed into the mirror. And, to my amazement, a freckle/mole, that was about an inch to the right of my nose, was missing. I either cut it off, or ripped it out while shaving. It didn’t bleed, but it left a small indentation where it had been. What will happen next? Will it grow back? Will it stay off? And, say I didn’t want it to come back. Is there a way to prevent it from returning?
