German preliminary GDP is less than expected. What do you think the short term outlook for the pair will be?

Since I plan on travelling at some point and all of my money is in USD, I’m hoping for the Euro to fall some.

It will but will you want to travel while it’s down?

@Ltryptophan The Euro? Sure. Favorable exchange rate FTW. Or were you referring to something else?

Given difficulties with both economies, I’d expect them to stay in the $1.40— $1.45/ euro range for a while, meaning 30 to 60 days.

This kind of speculation makes no sense at all.

People speculate on financial markets to make profits on leveraged trades, and even these are very small.

If you want to spoil your travels, for vacation or business, over currency market speculation I only know that you are making a mistake.
