It’s not my fault. Honest! My fingers move of their own accord and click on the Fluther link in my favorites tab. It’s like they’re possessed!

The real reason I only say that I might or I’m thinking about it. I know I couldn’t away for awhile. Sometimes I have trouble staying away overnight. I know you people party down as soon as I’ve signed off for the night!

I am one of those people.

I am on a permanent break, yet you will see me everyday. Instead of answering 90% of the questions, and spending 40 minutes out of every waking hour, I now answer less than a dozen questions and spend less than an hour a day doing it.

Yes. You’d think that after a while they would stop making grand announcements about it, if every time they do it, they don’t end up leaving. If done on a consistent basis, it starts to look very….attention whory.

I think that was the first time I’ve done it…...... at least I’m pretty sure it was. I’m really not a whore! Just a junkie! :D

My time here ebbs and flows, usually early in the morning and later in the evening.

No, I have never noticed that.
Only people who said they would leave and then really did leave, like last week when someone did just that.
Whenever I am gone for some weeks I don’t announce it publicly, usually I tell one or two Fellies through PM.

I have taken breaks before, but I never made a “grand announcement” about it. I agree with @Vunessuh that anyone who does that is just looking for attention. I think one time I tried to leave (a different site) and that failed abominably. Once you’re addicted, you’re addicted. :)

I keep trying to quit and then chocolate puts that avatar up and I’m ready to sell my soul for another look. Use your imagination for what I want to look at.

There should be some rules about this:

1. Say you’re gonna take a break, your account gets automatically suspended for a week.

2. Say you’re considering taking a break twice, your account gets automatically suspended for a week.

3. Do that again, your account gets suspended for a month.

I say I need a break but I don’t kid myself and I know I won’t take one. I don’t think I make announcements to leave though or anything like that. I complain mostly on Facebook.

No, I never announce my existence. I randomly visit and depart most of the time at will.

My breaks just happen and can’t be helped. Some days I wish I could fluther all day long, but life gets in the way and I must do my do.;)

The only time I’ve ever decided to take a break… I really did it.
I don’t remember ever saying that I was going to and not doing it, but I have asked other jellies if they thought I should take a break. When they said no (and that my reason for asking wasn’t just me), I didn’t take the break.

I have seen this, but I don’t think much of it. This site is addictive as all hell.

@FutureMemory LOL, no it wasn’t the tattoos… I was being a very “good and productive” girl for several days. I was only spending about 10 minutes or less here. But there were so many questions over the last few days that I wanted to answer, and dammit I got sucked back!!! Damn you people for being so interesting!

Haha. This reminds me of me on another site. I wanted a break from there badly because I was far too addicted. I kept having trouble leaving for that break. I finally requested to be put in the Penalty Box until January 12th there to help me with my break. I’m using this site as a distraction and I find it quite pleasant to look at. Different scenery is nice at least once in a while. It’s like visiting the country after I’m sick of being in the city, even though I love the city. I just need a break from it sometimes, you know? I don’t blame you for finding it hard to take a break from this site. It has a nice atmosphere.
