Research opportunites for college graduates in NJ?

Asked by ScottyMcGeester (1897points) August 27th, 2011

I’m planning to get some experience working in a lab next summer after I graduate from college, then I’m planning to go to graduate school. I live in New Jersey, so anything around that area would be great.

It could be anything. Paid, unpaid, internship, etc.

I’m specifically interested in microbiology and immunology, something around there.

I was hoping to find a company that would help pay for my graduate school. I have heard such places do that but don’t know any specifics.

Lots of pharmaceutical companies in central New Jersey that have labs. Try Merck, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer…...

There also might be something at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
