What have you achieved lately ?

I achieved the “stranger who doesn’t want to talk” award while I was visiting some friends. It was so good to see people coming only to say two three words then leave you in peace.
Feels so good. I did not want to socialize in those particular occasions and I did it.

A few physical achievements. I can now run without stopping for a full 40 minutes, I got my flexibility back to the point that I can kick 2 meters up in the air, and can lift more weght than before, the biggest weight being 120 kilos for leg exercises, the next biggest being 50 kilos on back exercises.

EDIT: I still have a loooong way to go on others, on triceps 10 kilos is still very hard, and I still can’t bring my self to do more than 3 sets of 20 situps, I wont be happy until I can do unlimited situps in a row (like I used to be able to in my teens)

EDIT2: The worst one would be shoulders, 5 kilos on shoulder exercises is still a big challenge.

I got a job coaching a high school girl’s volleyball team and I just completed my last necessary course to qualify and received all of the certificates I needed. And I’m almost done reading The Hobbit. WOO. :)

I just taught myself a new piece of software (Adobe Muse), which is always fun.

I just got hired to teach two Photoshop classes starting in September. Same college I was teaching at, but in the day program.

I’ve been going to bed earlier. :D
Trust me when I say that is quite an accomplishment. Tonight I aim for 11pm. LOOK OUT WORLD, Pandora is going to be well rested and ready to seize the day.

I finally signed a contract with an opera company. They’ll basically loan me out to different opera houses and I’ll be able to travel quite a bit. It has it’s connections with the Metropolitan Opera, so best case scenario, I get to perform there one day.

This excites me greatly.

I “divorced” myself from a toxic friend.

A fresh start! I do not want to be an add on to anyone else’s life and have taken the steps to begin again at love.

Maturity? Nah, who am I kiddin? ;¬}

I rode 15 miles on my bike.

I made my wife very happy by being kind and loving toward her. : )

I got my final surgery and am healing up fabulously. More my surgeon’s achievement than my own, but it feels big.

I got an interview for a job as an IELTS examiner.

I also start a full-time job paying ~¥4,500,000/yr next month.

My wife is due to give birth to a baby boy in November, but achieving orgasm is something men are generally pretty good at anyway, so I’m not sure it counts for much.

I have achieved a record of money spent on my animals in a short, 10–12 week period.

As of this moment I have spent approximately $ 1,290 on a now dead cat and a now surrendered stray cat I tried to adopt after my daughter rescued it a month ago.

No vacation for Coloma this year. lol

I have pretty nearly finished training the new guy at work. Less recently (but more impressively) I went 30 miles on a bicycle, the last eighth of which through an invigorating thunderstorm.

I managed to get through a job at work that I have been procrastinating about for weeks. It took all day but I left at 5pm today relieved that it was done!

For the last 3 days, I have been nagging at myself to get the recyclables etc out of the kitchen. I will go DO it NOW. Then I will say I’ve accomplished something today. I hate it when I’m being nagged.

I achieved my first fluther-versary today ;-)

I’ve developed deeper connections with some friends. It’s truly lovely :-)

Killed 50,000 zombies in Dead Nation and got a gold trophy for it.

Had me a manly day today, starting with a visit to the shooting range, followed by moving a pile of railroad ties, followed by a session with a barbecue full of steaks which weren’t cooked so much that the blood had all dried out. I’m gonna go take an acid shower, brush my teeth with an angle grinder, and curl up with a landslide for the night.
