What setting do you recommend for waterpik water flosser?

I find out what setting makes my gums bleed, and then step it down a few notches. Then as my gums toughen, I slowly increase the setting. At this point I keep the setting on 10, which is the highest.

I’m the same as @snowberry. I started off low and kept increasing until I can do it on 10 with no bleeding. If I am traveling and don’t use it for a month, I need to back it down to 5–6 for a day or two to build up again.
