Apollo 18, or Contagion?

Asked by iRemy_y (550points) September 9th, 2011

My friends and i narrowed it down to those two movies and can’t make a decision. Either could be great movies, or terrible movies. What do you guys think?

Neither. The Human Centipede.

The andromeda strain is a pretty good two parter, I think you’ll like it.

Contagion sounds more itneresting from the name.

I’d go with Contagion, to me it appears to be the lesser of the two evils.

Contagion.

Great Director: Steven Soderbergh
Great Cast: Gwyneth Paltrow, Lawrence Fishburn, Jude Law, Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, Kate Winslet, Elliot Gould
Great Story: Outbreak, The Hot Zone, The Andromeda Strain gone full goose bozo.

Uhm, you can forget Apollo 18. After reading a ton of bad reviews, I still went to see it. Wanna check for myself. They were right. There were two of us inside the theatre. I was munching hotdogs. He was sleeping. Wait for the DVD, or maybe not.

Haven’t seen Contagion but the production value is too big to ignore. So, Contagion then. Although, personally, I may not see it. Too tired of outbreak scenarios and there are no zombies here, just a lot of “angstbies” and “thought-provokingbies”, I’m sure.

Contagion seems to work well around the science fiends. Apollo, horror fiends. Do you want discovery detective stuff? Or a space haunting kind of feel? haha.
