You see a shop has a sign that says: "20% off all products for ugly people", what are your thoughts?

Don’t worry, I’m not being silly. I am asking because I have a comedy routine in mind.

Ask for an additional discount for being obese.

It is a clever ploy to get someone inside the store that can fix their computers.

What are products for ugly people? I stick to the aisles with products for beautiful people, but have peeked into the slightly above average section of the store from time to time.

Do they card people who they suspect are just trying to be ugly to get the discount?
Look at the drivers license, and say “No, you’re much better looking here!”

LOL. I wouldn’t visit that store!

I’d check the mirror to see if I was having an ugly day and then after deciding I was, I would proceed.

The way I read it, there are two ways of interpreting this.
Do you mean that ugly people receive 20% of off all the products they buy?
Or
Do you mean that everyone receives 20% off of products that improve one’s looks?

ANef_is_Enuf's avatar

@breedmitch the 1st interpretation didn’t even occur to me until other people started to answer.
