What famous person (living or deceased) do you share your birthday with?

Asked by smilingheart1 (6439points) October 3rd, 2011

With just 365/6 days in a year, there is a lot of repetition on when we mortals are born. So….who do you share the same day and month with for a birthday? I’ll jump in first.

And the Fonz. Ehhhhh!

Thomas Jefferson His actual date of birth and what is shown on his tombstone is April 2, but this was based on the Julian calendar, which was abandoned for the ‘new’ Gregorian calendar in 1752. This caused an 11-day shift in the date, so his birthday was April 13 after that time. Had they not changed the calendar my birthday would be April 2.
How weird would it be for your birthday to change during the middle of your life?

He and Samuel Beckett are the only two I knew without doing a Google, but there are a few more:

Al Green
Ricky Schroeder (he’ll always be Ricky to me)
Don Adams (Max Smartwell)
Max Weinberg (drummer for Bruce Springstein and Conan O’Brien’s show)
Tony Dow (Wally from The Beav!)
Garry Kasparov (lost chess to Deep Blue)
Jonathan Brandis (kid from Neverending Story)

Where are all the women?

Patty Duke and Nostradamus, not necessarily in that order.

Billy Mays is the only one I’ve heard of. I guess the moon landing makes up for the lack of shared birthdays though.
