My name is derived from the word gisil (Germanic) meaning pledge, hostage or sacrifice. I’m not entirely sure how it wounded up in the French language as a popular name, (or how that became a name to begin with) but it was introduced in the English speaking world when some guy made a famous ballet named Giselle. (my version of the name is missing an L though. XD) Its meaning has fuckall to do with my personality, that I know of. Really too vague anyways, especially if it’s just some wording business.
