@Nullo Also in my mothers culture, they cook the squid in it along with vinegar and other spices. It’s called “Adobong Squid.” Pop in a bayleaf (very popular among the Filipino food culture) throw in some onions and you’ve got yourself a pretty hardy meal. Hardy as in the eggs in some of the squids become really chewy and heavy (as hard as that may sound because these squids used for recipe range from 3–5 inches!
