Anyone know of a source for bulk hawthorn tea or tea bags?

Asked by ETpro (34605points) November 10th, 2011

Hawthorn tea is supposedly helpful in regulating and lowering blood pressure. It also tastes pretty good. But locally it’s about $3.50 for a box with 20 tea bags. That’s $0.175 per cup, which isn’t horrible. But I’d rather buy a large container of it that box after box. Is there a tea company somewhere I can order the prepared tea from? I found whole or ground berries. Is it just dried powdered berries in the tea bags?

Why not get the benefits with hawthorne capsules? You only need about 50 mg., They are available at any place that sells supplements.

We take them daily.

@marinelife Thank you. I hadn’t thought of that.

@ETpro I mistyped (as I so often do). The recommended daily dose is 500 mg not 50!

@marinelife Thanks. Sounds more like what I’d expect.
