How do I make this costume?

Asked by itsjustcruel (387points) November 21st, 2011

Ok this is going to sound a bit weird, but I am going to dress up as Tesco for a dressup party I am going to. It’s a long story but basicly its an inside joke between me and the host about Tesco, and I have also been given the letter T as my costume theme. So how would I go about dressing up as a Tesco? I had an idea that I could use a large box and use something like suspenders to keep it on, but I don’t know how I would make it look like a shop
Thanks

Could you perhaps go as Tesco’s value product? The simple blue and white stripes, etc Something like this as a basis for your idea….

For those unsure/interested, Tescos is a supermarket in the uk – similar to Target.

Put an image of the club card on the box, perhaps the back.

And a nice image of a store front that would make a good front of the box: You could make the cantilevered red covered front and some sort of faux structure for the letters up the top. The doors could open at the front and you could push dolls with trollies out of them.
