NSFW- Have you experienced pain after this intimate activity?

Asked by MissNicole126 (198points) November 24th, 2011

I have been fingered very gently, and I always have a burning type pain, will this go away with time?
Also, sometimes when I do get fingered I feel like I have menstrual cramps and also small cramps in my legs.
I’ve heard this is very normal, but I want to make sure.

I’ve never had pain from that, as well.

@FutureMemory Never fingered in the bum?

you may have a uti if you get them very easily. human hands are dirty and you need to make sure that no bacteria enters you, so always make sure they wash their hands!!lol

The cramps, do they happen only with fingering? I know some women experience post-orgasm uterine cramps a few days prior to getting their period. Could it be that?

Yea, it’s most likely a UTI. GA @worrytoodamnmuch

I am pretty sure that UTI is not in the abbreviations thread…..

I have had a burning type sensation for as long as I can remember, if the person’s fingers are rough. Some men have very calloused or rough skin on their hands, and I find that it can irritate my insides if they use their hands for too long. I’ve never had pain afterward, or cramping, though. I have experienced a burning or raw sensation without any infection present, so it doesn’t necessarily indicate a problem. Could rough skin be the issue? Do you have sufficient lubrication?

MissNicole126's avatar

@worrytoodamnmuch I will, thank you!
@ANef_is_Enuf Well his fingers are actually really rough. But he keeps his nails trimmed and I still have a burning feeling. And we haven’t used lubrication, that was only my 2nd time.

@Mariah Well could that effect birth control? I’m not exactly sure what a UTI is.

Urinary tract infection. Or bladder infection.

Sounds like a bit of cystitis, not comfortable but very common drink more cranberry juice. Not just a one off I mean a little glass everyday. even if you are fine. Keeps things good. Some girls are super sensitive to stuff like that. If its a reoccurring problem go to your doctor and they will probably give you 3 days antibiotics and possibly some to keep in case it comes back another day (thats what my doctor did in UK) don’t worry. If its still there in 2 days go to your doctor. They can normally tell what it is by just talking to you.

I’m curious to know why everyone assumes UTI. Do you notice the burning when you’re urinating, or while/right after you are being intimate?
By lubrication I meant natural lubrication, not necessarily something out of a bottle. Did you mean that this was only the 2nd time you’ve ever been with someone else?

MissNicole126's avatar

@bongo Okay, thanks! It’s not really after being fingered, it’s during it. After it I really have no pain except menstrual cramps.
@ANef_is_Enuf It’s during it. And that’s my second time ever.

this is not normal, you need to consult your GYN/OB ASAP, pain is natures way of telling you there is a problem, do not ignore the warning

MissNicole126's avatar

@DrBill I have heard it’s perfectly normal to experience pains your first few times. I think it may have been just because his fingers are very rough. But I will more than likely have to do that if it does get worse. Thank you!

Being fingered has hurt me also, even if the pain was not caused deliberately. I was not always relaxed at these times. Were you relaxed every time?
