Have you been a victim of crime recently?

I had my car window smashed in last night, I am the 3rd person I know who has had this happen to them in my immediate area. They didn’t take anything except £1.20 off the dashboard as I have nothing of any value in there but really went through everything I own in my car. Bearing in mind this is a student area and not many people have cars this is a very high level. I have also seen another car with a window smashed in but I don’t know the person and also my next door neighbour had his scooter thing stolen off his driveway. All since I moved in in October. There has also been 12 bike thefts in 2 weeks and 2 girls attacked on campus. My uni is still claiming to be a safe place to live and there is no need to worry.

I feel violated and unsafe.
