Final Cut Pro help?

I am making a video of my whale watching excursion. I am using my video, and my sisters video. My video works fine, i bring it in via log and transfer because it is MTS format. This is the only way I know how to do it. My sisters, already is in MOV format…. when I try to play the whole video, I cant edit it, it just says “unrendered.” What do I do to be able to look at it?

You have to render it; first, go to your project settings and make sure the scratch disk is set to write to the appropriate folder on your hard drive (hit the set button, and then browse to the proper location; especially important if your project is saved off of an external HDD).

Next, Render the unrendered clips by going to Sequence/Render Selection/Both
