How do you use icloud to update contacts on an iPhone and an ipad?

Asked by Evelyn_475 (792points) December 6th, 2011

I have an iPhone and an iPad and I want to sync them so that if I add a contact in one the contact will automatically be synced into the other device. Please help I am really confused!

I believe there is somewhere in the settings for each where you can click tht you want to use iCloud for updates. Or it might be in iTunes; I think I was asked it when I synched and upgraded my iPad to I0S 5. Once you click that, it will automatically update both when you add a contact.

Yeah just go to Settings on your iDevice, then tap iCloud and choose whatever you want to sync.

If you make changes to your address book, they will automatically sync over all your iDevices without you having to do anything.

If you need to make sure it’s enabled
Settings > iCloud.
Then make sure the things you want to sync are set to on.
