The only one I’ve ever seen with him is Gone With the Wind. It’s a great movie, in my opinion.

It Happened One Night

One romantic comedy that set the mold for hundreds that followed.

Those are great movies but I’ve seen both of them! Thanks though :)

Mutiny on the Bounty with Charles Laughton was good, as was the Misfits with Marilyn Monroe. It Happened One Night though, I think is his best.

He was in Teacher’s Pet with Doris Day. Doris Day even appeared a bit sexy in that one.

The only one to my taste that was any good was Mutiny on the Bounty, although his was the worst of the films made, again, in my opinion.

Since It Happened One Night is one of the best films ever made so I tend to side with that as being Gable’s best performance. However, I always mix up the names of Clark Gable and Carey Grant_ and I have no idea why.

Red Dust with Jean Harlow. It’s amazing!
Edit: I forgot Call of the Wild! Good movie as well. And he and Lorretta Young had time to make a love child while making the movie.
But you should look that up on your own:)

Run Silent, Run Deep
It Happened One Night
San Francisco
Call of the Wild
Men in White
and, begrudgingly, GWTW. I really didn’t like the movie, but he is great in it

Another vote for It Happened One Night.

He is great with Claudette Cobert (and she’s adorable and feisty).

Harry and Sally got nothing on these two.
