I am new to Texas and wanted to get settled in Dallas. How do I find a new apartment?

There are still the newspaper classified ads of course. First, find a neighborhood you like. If you moved there for a job and are working, ask co-workers what some good areas are and why/ Tell them the kinds of things you look for in a home. Do you like right in town or the suburbs? Do you like really modern, new buildings or old buildings with a lot of character? That kind of thing. Is money no object or do you need a reasonable rent?
