How do you reply to a comment on a Tumblr post?

I tried to “join” Tumblr in an effort to answer this question, but it’s asking for a URL – what URL do they want? Pretty lame.

@FutureMemory They mean, what do you want your username to be. Like, futurememory.tumblr.com.

Sometimes, you can reply to a post, via the reply button (next to the heart and the reblog buttons). It depends on if a) the OP has enabled that option and b) if you have been following that OP for awhile. Then it’ll show up. If that isn’t an option, you can reblog the post and add your comment.
