Do you think that the NDAA will become a legal law?

It is hype and a copy of something that is all over the net.

To authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2012 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes.

@LuckyGuy From your link… Amendment 4:
Amendment extends protected communications covered under the Whistleblower Protection Act to include ideologically based threats or actions which could be counterproductive or detrimental to the United States’ interests or security.

They now have the right to kill thought, and the speech to make it known.

Amendment 10:
Amendment precludes an executive agency from requiring an entity submitting an offer for a Federal contract to disclose political contributions as a condition of participation.

So corporations can buy votes and none of the contributions need be reported.

The “potential for misuse/abuse” of this bill is pretty large. Too many ways for people (members of government / corporations) to take advantage of it for bad purposes. The worst part is that this is may be intentional on the part of someone.

@projectilevomit I wish you would ask mods to allow for rewording the title of this question to be more descriptive of the contents. Perhaps include “NDAA set to become law” in the title. Better for searching.
