Can I flash and unlock an iPhone4s to my Virgin Mobile service?

I’m an Apple freak. I’ve always loved iPhones from a far. I have an LG Optimus V on the 25 dollar unlimited data plan 300 mins per month. I can’t afford the AT&T plan or the Verizon or the T-Mobile $69.99<$25.00 in this case. So have you heard of unlocking and flashing an iPhone4s? It won’t have to be unlocked because I’ll be purchasing my own. (Unless it does require an unlock)

I tried the geveySIM with a few Iphone4 devices, and it works. They were all AT&T carrier only before, and now they work on any carrier (even overseas). Software updates haven’t affected them so far. I don’t know whether it works for the 4S, though (I imagine it would).

The geveySIM I’m talking about is this device where your SIM card goes on top of (and then the whole thing gets inserted into the Iphone SIM slot). I don’t know how it works, but I got it for around $40 (I think) from someone I knew.

Note, however, that the geveySIM unlock method is a tethered unlock (as far as I know)... The new ones might be untethered, but I have no idea since I last used them a while back.
