If I don't send in my TOEFL scores to colleges, will they reject me?

Asked by Earthflag (549points) January 1st, 2012

I wanted to send my scores, and it costs 187 dollars. 17 per college. I really don’t want to send it now… If colleges don’t receive my official score report, do they just reject me? They all know my score, because I wrote it on the application, but they didn’t “officially” receive the report…

I’m going for the acting program so I have to audition for most of my colleges, so audition is my priority.

If it’s listed as a requirement, they’ll want the official report.

What if I don’t send it?

They probably won’t consider your application, as it is not complete.

My college said they will reject me if I don’t.

Do you need to apply to 11 colleges? Perhaps cut back the number and thus the cost.
