Interested in getting my writing out there, suggestions?

Hey guys and girls. I’m currently doing a lot of freelance writing and submitting to sites here and there with some of my writing. I like to focus on a variety of topics such as politics, relationships and philosophical ideas, however, I’m having a hard time getting noticed on the internet. I am the type of person who likes to strike up a debate and create intellectual minds that can think for themselves. Do you have any good websites I can submit to or any ideas on how to create some hype with my writing?

Another option I forgot to mention is that you can sell your works (both fiction and non-fiction) through Amazon as eBooks for the Kindle. I haven’t done this yet, but I’m considering trying it with a few of my more popular short stories.
