I really want to use a punching bag on a regular basis. Where do I go?
I love punching bags. They are one of my favorite ways to work out. I also love punching, and kicking, things….hard. I used to have one when I lived at home, years ago, but it broke and then I moved. I don’t have room for one in my house or I would just buy one. From what I gather, the rec center here does not have one, and I am certainly not going to buy a gym membership solely to use the punching bag (I don’t want or need one either). Do gyms even have punching bags, though? Would there be other more specialized places that might have one I could use that would be cheaper? Is it creepy if I post an ad on Craigslist asking if I can pay (or not) someone to use their punching bag? I don’t know where else to turn!
Also, as a side note, do you have any suggestions for activities or sports I should get into if I love punching and kicking so much? Punching more than kicking. I would like to do this as my main exercise, and to get into shape. Any input/suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.
