What goes on in Cheyenne?

Asked by auhsojsa (2516points) January 28th, 2012

It’s my favorite name for a place in America for the fact that for me it’s pure mysteriousness! What goes on over there? Demographics? Things done for fun? Any notable billionaires? Native American tribes there? Land marks? Etc? Thanks! Photographs and links greatly appreciated!

Not a whole lot. The population is about 60,000. There’s a good pizza place at the train station: I used to drive up there from Boulder.

The biggest event is probably Cheyenne Frontier Days, which is a combination cattle market, rodeo and state fair every summer that draws people from all over the West and Midwest.

Well, at least once a day there’s some gate activity. Wormholes are pretty exciting, I guess.

Stays in Cheyenne.

I think there’s an Amtrak that comes through every night. People line up on the side of the road to watch it…

If it is Cheyenne, Ok the buffalo roam and the deer and the antelope play. That is about it.
