Sometimes when out and about you catch odd snippets of conversation spoken by strangers that stick in your mind. What have you overheard recently?

Overheard a woman in my office saying on the phone “you going down to Beaver?” I started laughing. My mind turns everything dirty. There is a town in my state called Beaver.

Oh my god, not me but one of my friends overheard a conversation that would make an amazing movie. I can’t go into too many details because it’s so bizarre the people involved would probably recognise themselves if they googled here. All I will say is, two people fell in love, decided to marry, then discovered they were siblings.

Well, this wasn’t overheard. It was an email from work. When I get an email a little balloon pops up in the lower right screen of whatever program I’m in, and shows a portion of the message. This one was regarding a fax and the portion I read went something like this; “I dialed the number and started to fax but then I heard voices….” It’s that immediate, knee jerk reaction to stuff like that that makes it so funny!

Overheard? I’ve BEEN in one. My friends and I were starting a normal conversation, but then they started throwing in random things, like inside jokes and what not, and I didn’t understand a bit.
