Have you ever acted impulsively for the sake or the attention of a strong and attractive woman?

I think I am pretty squared away. But I have this weakness. It occasionally gets the best of me. Oh well.

No – but I sure have done some dumb things for strong and attractive guys!

Can only men answer this question? Because my brother becomes really stupid and impulsive when it comes to women. Like spending his entire paycheck on a dress for her. The last time he said something impulsive he was in the hospital for a week. She really kicked his ass.

@josie Is not particular about who answers. Most of the time. You are welcome to answer.

It’s hard to play it cool. While you’re admiring her, you start thinking about what you should do to impress her. I think it may be better to play it cool, though.

The reverse… yes. Sigh.

PS Good to see you.

I was more than a little drunk and very young one night when I ran into some lovely Irish exchange students working in a bar. When they took me back to their apartment I tried to show them my cool open a beer with my palm drink.

It only works on the kind of glass bottle top you use an opener on. These were twist top beers, and I made like five attempts before one young lass said, “OH MY GOD YOU ARE DRIPPING BLOOD!” I had been cutting my hand each attempt.

@Blackberry bandaging and an awkward call to a friend for a ride.

Now you’d have to worry about getting them all excited with the blood. f’ing vampires…

@Imadethisupwithnoforethought Damn…..I was hoping you just pleasured two women with an injured hand. “Don’t worry about me, ladies. It’s time for me to take care of you….”

@Imadethisupwithnoforethought I could never even get two women to take me home with them, lol.

Yeah… when I get old and my bones and aches start getting to me I’ll be paying in spades for it… totally worth it :)

Absolutely, and I do it all the time for my best friend who just so happens to be a really strong and really attractive (and impulsive) woman. (Hell, she carries a .45 and kills most of her own meat, but still wears heels and dresses for Christ sake. I’m not even joking.) If she wants to have a picnic on the face of a 2000 foot cliff, I do it. If she wants to go 4 wheeling through cow pastures at night in prom dresses, I do it. If she wants to smoke hookah in the basement of a building downtown with a Pakistani soccer team, I do it. I’m not joking about any of that either.

Sighhhhhhhhhhh

Yes. Every time I left an abusive situation, I did it all for me.

If impulsively means idiotically, then yes I have. Almost every time.

Of course. It’s not like trying to be stupid on purpose. But sometimes you get these ideas and who knows where they come from and you don’t even need to be drunk and somehow it seems like such a good idea at the time.

They never work, either.

Or maybe they do. I’m married, so I must have done something right.

@Blackberry, you’re tellin’ me…

No, well….only when I was a in my mid to late teens & then only because I was an impressionable novice in the field.
I’ve not met any of the women i’ve had “proper” relationships with in any of the environments regarded as the norm, clubs/pubs etc.
I’ve met them at work or in a chance/random meeting where there was no attempt made on either side to “attract a mate” Seems like I just click with a future partner without any need for bells & whistles….which is nice.
