How did you do in the MegaMillions drawing?

Asked by ETpro (34605points) March 31st, 2012

Did anybody win anything? I didn’t. I already had a 7 play number, but bought 7 more easy-picks so I lost $8 to finance the feeding frenzy. How did you do?

There was zero chance in winning. No ticket was bought.

If () is not a winner, then I lost my rearend.

Thanks for asking. It made my $10 dollars mean something.

Gabby101's avatar

I spent $1 and won $1.

Um, someone did win (at least ONE person), so I guess we should all laugh and point fingers at that fool! Tired of hearing there is “no” chance of winning. There is a chance, it’s just very small. What I will argue that 5 chances is really no different than one chance, because of the small odds of wining.

I don’t usually buy tickets, but gave in to the frenzy.
I spent $5 and lost it all.
My son spent $20 and won $5.

What MegaMillions drawing? Was it in pencil? charcoal? Conte crayon? pen and ink? Was it framed? Were you?

Big fat loser. lol
I rarely buy lotto tickets and so I splurged on $10. Oh well, it was worth the gamble…holy s—t, I really wouldn’t even want 640 million…jeez, I’d be thrilled with a couple. haha

I won. Fuck you all.

Edit: I just couldn’t leave that joke there like that, I felt bad. Lol!

@Blackberry ok you could fuck me for 10 million. C’mon! : )

I didn’t buy a ticket .. but I enjoyed watching all the crazy people spending their rent money buying theirs! lol

Zero win, zero lost. I did better than the 100 million people who bought tickets and lost.

Ya know. I haven’t checked the numbers yet and my ticket is back home. Hmm, I’ll have to check later on.

I only spent $1, so anything would be something.

I won a severed head. I didn’t realize that was one of the prizes.

Someone in my state (Illinois) won. Maybe it’s me, maybe it isn’t.

It said the major prize was shared between three winners this morning on our news. Happy for them. Hopefully those three winners were actually work syndicates and lots of people shared that obscene amount of money and they will go on to share with their communities.

Someone has to win. I didn’t have a ticket because I am not in the US. I hope in terms of ‘six degrees of separation’ some jellies benefit from someone winning a major prize.

My wife never plays, but she bought an easy pick as well. Nothing doing there either. But 5 people in our state matched 5 of the 6 numbers, for a cool $259,000 each.

If I heard correctly, at least one of the big three winners was a quick pick, which restores my faith in that method.

Also, I heard that the net proceeds of the CA state lottery will be contributing $1.2 (or was it $1.7?) billion to our impoverished educational system this year. :-)

I didn’t play :/

@Brian1946 The machine that tumbles the numbered balls has no way of knowing which balls were selected in quick picks. The fact that “lotery experts” float such ideas shows how uttely gullible they know the American Public is today. That has frightening implications to the long term survivability of our system as a democracy.

@FutureMemory Ha! You didn’t win, but you;re money up on me.

jonsblond's avatar

I got the mega ball right in the drawing last night. I won $2. Woohoo!

ETpro's avatar

@jonsblond I got the numbers i the Megaball right, but I just had them arranges as (04) when they came out as (40). Zero dollars. :-)
