Has anyone else watched Nasa'a unexplained files?

Asked by philosopher (9065points) March 31st, 2012

I just did.
There are so many stars in our Galaxy. Many more in the Universe. Isn’t it more likely than not that alien life exist? Have we been observed?
This question is for fun.

I certainly believe that other life might exist out there. Whether it’s just fungi or entire civilizations, who can say. We know so little about the universe, so it would be foolish that state anything about it.

@Symbeline
I am always amazed by what they are discovering. I read and I watch Science Channel.
Have pleasant day and thank you for your response.

Because the universe is so huge, I cannot imagine that we’re the only civilization around. People of our generation might not meet them, but someone will some day.

I read and watch Science Channel.
Did you watch the show? You can use the link and watch on line.
It is kind of a scary to think of aliens actually landing on Earth and saying we wish to meet your leaders. We have been observing your progress for a long time. I don’t think this happen but I think the world leaders think about this too. The UN was looking for people to represent Earth.
I think that if, they are observing us they must think we are still to primitive to contact. Truly civilized species should not kill each other.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. .

Sorry, I forgot to mention that. Yes, we’ve watched some of the show. It’s one that we start watching in bed and fall asleep to. Not because it’s boring, but we get comfy and then ZZZzzzzZzzzzz happens.

I have no clue what the aliens are thinking, but I really want that jump gate technology. There are places to go, darn it all!

I love shows like that, they really make your mind go in all sorts of directions. I think wer’re being observed, I saw a show recently providing evidence that we’ve been observed for a long long time, even since our beginning.

I agree with @tedibear those shows are great to fall asleep to, they usually have a narrator with a super calming voice.

Okay, I too can not imagine that we’re the only (intelligent?) creatures in the universe, however I sense we’re some of the most naive.. For instance, there have been numerous sightings of UFO’s and unidentified craft floating in the atmosphere but my question is… Why do they all have blinking lights? And sometimes even colored blinking lights.. For what reason are these lights for? Is it like the regular planes that fly around, to warn others of their presence? There’s not one report that I’ve heard that it could possibly be a propulsive discharge thrust because in most reports, they claim it has no sound.. So, why are there lights on UFO sightings?
