Is it Monday or Friday?

A co-worker mentioned that it was Friday to me yesterday, which it technically was; our days off are Tuesday and Wednesday.
He was singing some song about “Yaay, Friday!” I had had Foreigner’s “Blue Monday” And Duran Duran’s
“New moon on Monday” All day, and I got to thinking;
Monday is generally associated with dreariness, as sung by Karen Carpenter. Friday is associated with “Whoopeeeee!”
Are there more Waaah Monday songs, or more Yaaaaaayyyyyy! Friday! songs? I know there have to be a bunch of both.
I feel like the sentiments for each are different and indicate polar opposites; optimism and pessimism. Fully stating upfront that I could be completely wrong, and doing nothing more than indulging my own fantasies here;
Can you name any songs for either side of the fence?
I’m wondering if there are significantly more of one or the other and if that is an indication of a sub conscious collective mindset.
