Fluther foodies! Any suggestions to enhance our Mother's Day brunch?

My in-laws are coming for brunch on Mother’s Day. Yes, this is a good thing. I have wonderful in-laws! I’m looking for possible additions to the menu.

I plan to make a frittata (not sure what kind yes, so if you have suggestions, please share!), a french toast casserole and fruit salad. Dessert will be either key lime or lemon pie and brownies. I was thinking about making little skewers with grape tomatoes, fresh or smoked mozzarella, basil and olive oil. I’ve also made mild peppadew filled with goat cheese and that has been successful. I’m considering making a nice chewy bread with a crispy crust, but am not sure it’s necessary. Except that I really like to makes bread!

My father-in-law and brother-in-law both have a sweet tooth, but my husband, mother-in-law and I prefer a balance.

Any suggestions, additions or ideas?
