Do the "To-Catch-a-Predator" decoys ever get turned over to the police by non-pedophiles?

In watching that hilarious and at the same time terrifying show I always wondered. Were there ever any guys who chatted with the decoy, who as far as they knew was some under age kid trying to have sex with older guys, who turned the kid into the police or tried to call their “parents?”

Had to be right? I mean aside from there being chat rooms on the internet still, that was the most astonishing thing to me…. no one ever was like, yah I’ll be there in an hour, and then a cop shows up to talk to the kid and his parents.
