Can anyone help me identify the best email provider?

I have used earthlink for the past 15 years as my email provider. They’ve been pretty good until recently. Now, they’re not saving my incoming email addresses or sorting suspect mail from my inbox. Mail that I’ve deleted still shows up in my inbox. (I’ve heard they’re in financial trouble but the reasons for email dysfunctions aren’t really of my concern.)

I pay for earthlink and it’s perfectly fine if I paid for another provider. (I don’t care for aol.)

I’m looking for:
Reliability
The ability to sort saved mail into folders
Separate In-box and Suspect Mail (incoming mail for which an address has not been saved) folders.

Would like but not absolutely necessary:
The ability to use my own domain name.

I’d be grateful for any suggestions.
