General Question

I am having stomach pains shorly after I eat, sort of dull (though sometimes somewhat sharp) pain in the middle of my abs/stomach. I'm in my mid-twenties, workout very often, and usually eat very healthy. What could this be? An ulcer?

Sounds like the symptoms of reflux. If one of the OTC remedies, like Zantac helps with discomfort, then that may be it.

Possibilities include gasteroesophageal reflux (GERD or heartburn), a gastric or duodenal ulcer, biliary colic (gallbladder stones), gas, mild pancreatitis, or gastritis. Have you been taking any supplements? A lot of NSAIDS? Are you belching alot? Have the same problem late at night? Have a family history of ulcers or gallbladder disease? Does anything help, like Pepto Bismal, Milk of Magnesia, antacids?

One other possibility. Have you been on antibiotics at all lately? In which case, you may have killed off your native fauna that are needed to digest.
