Androids are customizable, and sometimes cheaper. iPhones aren’t that customizable, but are more user-friendly if you aren’t that good with technology.

I have an android. I bought it for a couple hundred bucks then I pay about $50 for unlimited text, talk, data. My friend has an Iphone, its about $150,00 a month. It’s a really cool phone though, so if cost wasn’t an issue, I probably would’ve gotten an Iphone.

My policy is this: If someone is confused about which one to buy, I always recommend the iPhone, despite being an Android fan myself. They are 2 different things with different functionality. If you don’t know what you’re missing, then iPhone is perfect. If you do know what you’d be missing by going to iPhone, then you’re probably not going to ask the question. So…go with iPhone!

There is a very good chance (more than 95% I’d say) that Apple will be releasing the iPhone 5 around September. If having the latest/greatest is important to you, you might want wait a couple of months. The issue I have with android is that the handset makers really aren’t vested in having an excellent user experience after you buy it. Most Android phones never get the updates (with all of the great improvements) that Google releases because none of the carriers and Android phone manufacturers care to spend the resources to make it happen.

I think google has done some impressive things with Android, but the iPhone is a better choice for most people. Customer satisfaction surveys will back that statement up.
