Can I have Facebook friends on both the Restricted list, and another specific list?

I have a couple Facebook friends from school I’d rather not see anything I post, except for the occasional school-related post specifically for just them. Can I put them on both the Restricted list, and another special list, and then have them see the stuff posted to the special list, or will the Restricted cancel out everything?

From what I gather, the information you post can be restricted within the message posting itself, so if your friends are on the restricted list they will only see what is on your public wall. If you keep them restricted, they will not be able to see anything else. So yes, Restricted cancels out.
