Why is my central air not working?

Last night my ac unit quit working completely. I went down stairs and switched the breaker. The big box thing in the basement started working again but the unit outsides fan is not working or making any noise.

Some of those outside units have a re-set button on them. Try to see if there is a button on the side or under the unit you can press
