If the Confederate States seceded from the US during the 1860's and became a sovereign nation, would they have become an ally of Nazi Germany during WW2?

This is tangentially based on some of the comments I read on this.

It seems to me that since the CSA would have been more ideologically aligned with Nazi Germany than the US, that such an alliance would have been a distinct possibility, although they might have remained neutral because of their geographic vulnerability.

They would’ve remained neutral, but why wouldn’t they be on their side? They were in the business of preserving our lord and saviors master race and obtaining more lebensraum for them. Lol.

Possibly.
But then the northern colonies would not have been able to support Britain in any way, so Hitler might have succeeded in conquering the British isles. Of course he would still have lost against the Soviets and all of Europe would be speaking russian by now.

On the other hand, if the Colonies had lost the War of Colonial Aggression, Britain would have had the industrial capacity of the Colonies from the beginning of WW2, and the war would have been a lot shorter.
It is also possible that WW2 could have been avoided altogether, since the Great Depression, which immensely helped Hitler come to power, could have been prevented by the Empire.

Nazi Germany would have had no excuse for being if the South had seceded. The whole make-up of the world would have been different in response to the economics of more sovereign countries. Texas would have stayed it’s own country, and controlled oil, the south would have collapsed under the weight of agrarian economics and lost much during the dust bowl era, California would have established itself as an independent country and claimed the entire west coast including all the mountain ranges, holding all the gold and silver mines. Henry Ford wouldn’t have invented the Model T. All the things that lead to the economic collapse of the 1920s would not have occurred in the order that they did, if at all.
