Castaway was very inspirational. I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about it but for me it was quite good.
Also, in a way I haven’t yet identified, Green Street Hooligans was inspirational as well. I think you’ll get quite a lot of different answers because we can be inspired by very different things.

There are loads but I recently saw The First Grader and thought to myself that maybe it would do good to screen it in western schools.

This may not count as a movie. A Class Divided is inspirational.

This is one of the most requested programs in FRONTLINE’s history. It is about an Iowa schoolteacher who, the day after Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered in 1968, gave her third-grade students a first-hand experience in the meaning of discrimination. This is the story of what she taught the children, and the impact that lesson had on their lives.

We used it in our diversity training classes at work.

Blazing Saddles, I like beans & made me feel comfortable farting at dinner parties.
Never punch a horse though, unless it’s my little pony.

Into The Wild was pretty inspirational, but there’s probably a lot more that I can’t think of right now.

The Other Final

It’s about “a match between Bhutan and Montserrat, the two lowest-ranked teams in FIFA at the time, to coincide with the World Cup final on 30 June 2002.”
Here’s an interview with the director

I have yet to see Invictus, but I think it would be equally inspiring.
What’s strange about my choices is that both of them involve sports related stories and I am not much of a sports fan myself.

A Beatiful Mind

When I was diagnosed bipolar, both my best-friend and my lovely boss reccommended it within 24 hours. It’s delightful. Apparently, Ron Howard used some artistic liberty, but it’s so uplifting.
