Hello I want to download to my mp3 player.I have not found any directions to do this, so I have signed up for 30 day trial on premium spotify to maybe find out how to download to my mp3 player. Can anyone help out before my thirty days is up?

I could be mistaken, but I am quite sure Spotify does not have a download option, the only way to do it would be with software that records what your soundcard is playing, but that would be piracy and so I would not officially advise you to do it.

What you’re looking for is Offline mode. It doesn’t actually let you download songs, but lets you make up to 3,333 songs available to play through Spotify even when you’re not connected to the internet. You’ll need the Spotify app on your computer/mobile device/mp3 player to play the songs offline.

You can download songs from Spotify and sync them to your mp3 player, but that’s just like buying music from any other service (iTunes, Amazon mp3, etc).

Spotify is more like a library you have membership access to than a store. You can’t download tracks and keep them and use them like any other MP3 file, it requires that you have internet access and an active free or paid account because it keeps track of your playing.

To listen to them anywhere outside of your computer you will have to have a smartphone with the spotify app, and pay for premium access.
