Is free advice worth the price you pay?

Many folks want to chip-in with their two cents. Is the advice others give you for free worth more than nothing?

Sure. We’re social creatures, we learn from one another. Not all advice is useful, but not all advice is useless, either. It’s all really only as valuable as what you choose to do with it, in the long run.

I’d be more leery of the advice you have to pay for.

The majority of our decisions are made as a result of free advice. It depends on the source, but most advice is based on actual experience and is invaluable.

I’m actually on Fluther because I was seeking advice and found the site.

Getting t know so many of you so much better, I have to say, I’m amazed how good the advice was.

Sometimes getting others perspective helps you see things from another angle that you wouldn’t have thought of and make a decision that may have been difficult a bit easier. You do always have to consider that its still just one persons opinion and ultimately you have to weed everything thing and make the decision yourself. Good or bad I still welcome advice so that I can see things differently from what I was thinking. So to answer your question since your not paying for it why not just listen and then make your own decisions.
