I dreamed of my deceased sister, decorating the house for Christmas. What does this mean?

Asked by rosaliea58 (16points) September 24th, 2012

My sister put large Christmas decorations in every room. One room had 2 twin beds, she said these were for her grandsons when they come to visit, another room had an empty crib, maybe two, a third room had a large bed. All the beds were made and nothing was out of order. She had also taken a room that I claimed as mine, when I told her I needed my room, she said ok, no problem at all. Although she was talking to me, her mouth never opened or moved to form the words.

It means you miss her, and wish she would be here for Christmas.

What emotions did you feel upon awakening? Sadness, loneliness, anger? When did she die?

Are there other issues in your present life that would equate to the ones in your dream?

My sister passed away in January of this year after a 15 month battle with lung cancer. She was happy in the dream and I was happy to see her. When I woke, I was heartbroken when I realized it was a dream.

Maybe she is preparing places for her relatives in the after life.

Remember, dreams are your own thoughts, imagination, hopes and fears. I don’t believe that they tell the future or anything like that. Maybe you were just thinking about her, and how someday you will all get together for Christmas again.
