Is there an application or method for controlling the volume of specific applications in OSX Leopard?

Do you mean excluding the system preference panel or the keyboard? Or to do it individually per app. Usually if it is a per app thing there should be keyboard shortcuts listed for the app.

here is one for PPC, can’t find anything for intel yet.

I’ve been looking for the same thing for a long time. It’s something that I hate to admit Microsoft got right in Vista. Honestly, I’d just like to mute Safari every now and then. Is that too much to ask?
