Windows 7 asks for network password when trying to share a folder.

Try setting a PW on the master entrance, then try what you are doing again.

I have, I’ve tried every single possible combination. I’ve also set the user account on that computer to a different one and it still doesn’t work. It says unknown username or bad password, even though that is the account for that PC

For some reason I can access the old computer just fine from the new one without a password promt. this is driving me nuts!
