Hypothesis for general biology...?

Asked by 717richboy (234points) November 15th, 2012

I’m really not that great in biology. For an assignment, I am trying to come up with a logical hypothesis which will set the basis for my paper. In our lab experiment, my test group produced glucose 3 and no glucose. I tried looking up what glucose 3 represents, but I haven’t been successful. Any help would be appreciated. I’m not looking for answers, just guidance. Thanks!

By the way, here are my three hypothesis so far (I have three because I’m trying to decide which works best) :

If by using the Benedict’s test, glucose is shown to be present, then….

If glucose is shown to be present by using the Benedict’s test, then….

If a reaction catalyzed by the biochemical reaction (enzyme) invertase, combined with stock solution, produces different levels of glucose, then….

Thank you in advance!
